The Club News-Sheet Invicta is supplied to members on a monthly basis and gives up-to-date information on all the operators in the area of coverage.

The main operators covered are:

·         Arriva Kent & Sussex

·         New Enterprise

·         Stagecoach East Kent

·         Stagecoach Hastings & District

The News-Sheet gives full details of all vehicle movements - acquisitions, disposals, loans and reallocations. Also details of repaints, vehicle modifications and domestic stock, plus subsequent disposals. In addition, details of changes to routes worked, and vehicle types allocated are given. Other areas of coverage include Publicity - details of leaflets issued, Strange Visitors - unusual vehicle workings, and Around the Areas - general news items.

In addition to coverage of the major operators, full details are given of vehicles acquired by all other operators in the area of coverage, including where known body and chassis numbers, and livery details. Also details of routes worked

Some operators, whilst outside the area of formal coverage do work services into the area and where relevant, details of these are given. Because of it's close association with Arriva Kent & Sussex, details of vehicle movements are given for Arriva Kent Thameside.

Other areas of coverage include National Express workings, Rail replacement work, County Council tenders and rally reports of vehicles of local interest.

The final sections cover Club announcements - forthcoming events, publications, tour reports etc.

A sample news sheet can be downloaded here as a Rich Text Format (.rtf) file. This is a copy of sheet 600 published July 2002 which included a special Club Jubilee supplement which is accessible via the Club History page.

From January 2003 the format of the news sheet changed to an A5 booklet format rather than A4 sheets and entitled 'Invicta' with a different illustrated front page each month. This is usually monotone, but sometimes colour pictures feature.
