The Club is involved in the maintenance and
overhaul of preserved vehicle HKE 867 (ex-Maidstone & District Bristol K6A)
which has been owned for over thirty years. CJG 959 (ex-East Kent Leyland PD1A)
had been owned for a similar length of time, but on 28th March 2000 was sold to
Dover Transport Museum Society.

HKE867 parked at Maidstone
Armstrong Road depot in connection with a Club visit.
Maidstone
& District DH159 (HKE 867)
One of a batch of Bristol K6A delivered to
Maidstone & District in October 1945, DH159 originally carried a Duple
body, being rebodied in April 1953 by Weymann. It was purchased by the Club in
May 1967, and makes regular appearances at rallies and the Club's Annual
General Meeting events.

This Leyland Titan PD1A with Leyland
bodywork was new to East Kent in 1947, and was purchased by the Club in July
1966. It was sold to Dover Transport Museum Society 28th March 2000, having
been off the road awaiting continued restoration for many years.
