Each year the Club organises a number of
tours for the benefit of members. Three or four trips a year are undertaken, to
areas both within the Club area, and other areas reachable in a day from Kent.
These trips usually involve a mixture of town centre visits, operator depot visits, and preservation sites. Whilst the main vehicle used for the day is usually a modern coach, historic vehicles are often used for part of the day. Pickup points vary, depending on the vehicle being used and the eventual destination, but usually include Maidstone and Chatham.
This M&D coach was used for a club tour in 1997
In addition to the main programme of tours, the Club organises special bus services in the Maidstone area in connection with the Annual General Meeting, using various preserved vehicles, plus the occasional local evening coach trip.
